All classes including beginner classes, are taught by Sensei Takahashi. Sensei Takahashi is an experienced instructor of students aged 6 to 77.
About Sensei Takahashi:
Officially licensed JKA World Federation A-class instructor, A-class judge and A-class examiner; member of the JKA Shihankai.
Currently ranked 7th Dan.
Lecturer and Instructor of annual Karate-Do seminars in Canada, Haiti and Venezuela.
Chairman and chief instructor Shotokan Karate-Do International (SKDI).
Member of the JKA International Board of Directors.
Member of the JKA Shihankai.
18 years experience as a physical education lecturer at City University of New York (BMCC) and State University of New York (Stonybrook).
Chief judge of All American Karate Federation (AAKF) and Shoto World Cup international tournaments.
Graduate of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music, 1967; Member of Karate team.
Chief Instructor of JKA Brooklyn since 1972.
